The University

Established in 1943 in the Ryazan city, Ryazan State Medical University is a government medical university in Russia. The University celebrated its first graduation ceremony in 1953, and since then, thousands of medical aspirants have graduated from the Ryazan State Medical University, now practicing medicine worldwide and offering healthcare services to people in need.

For pre-clinical training of the students and get them ready for real-world clinical training, the University has a Center for Simulation Training, which trains students in an artificial clinic environment before they start their clinical rotations in hospitals. In subsequent stages, students are provided with hands-on training in University-affiliated hospitals and clinics. 

Besides delivering quality medical education, the University is actively taking care of the health needs of local people as well as its students and members. With its healthcare activities, the University professionals perform around 30,000 operations, 60,000 surgeries, and provide medical consultation to over 40,000 patients. 

From academic mobility, the University has an agreement of cooperation with many foreign medical universities. It facilitates Students Exchange Programs, international clinical training experience for students, and exchange of faculty and other resources among universities. Presently, students from around 60 countries study medicine in Russia at Ryazan State Medical University.
