SOBRANIYE- 2019 Festive Assembly of Indian Students Going for MBBS in Russia

On September 10, 2019, the reputed ‘Kamani Auditorium’ witnessed the grand Festive Assembly of Indian Students Going for MBBS in Russia – SOBRANIYE 2019!

Sobraniye is a pre-departure orientation ceremony for all the students who have enrolled with Rus Education to study MBBS in Russia. The event plays a crucial role for the medical aspirants by providing a source of motivation. Every year, Sobraniye witnesses dignitaries from highest order along with top graduates of Russian Universities interact with and guide the students for their journey towards realizing their dream of becoming successful doctors. The annual event is hosted by Rus Education along with the Russian Center for Science and Culture, New Delhi. 

Sobraniye 2019 was a phenomenal hit and exhibited grandeur.

The 10th Edition of Sobraniye was graced by various renowned and prominent dignitaries including Mr. Roman Babushkin- Charge D’ Affairs, Embassy of the Russian Federation in India, Lt. Gen Bipin Puri- Director Gen Armed Forces Medical Service, Mr. Fedor Rozovsky, Director Russian Center of Science & Culture, Dr. Harish Nadkarni, CEO- NABH (National Accreditation board for hospitals for healthcare providers, Dr. Shubnam Singh Director-Medical Education, Medical Research, Advisor- Healthcare The framework at Max Healthcare, Dr. Shakti Gupta, Prof & Medical Superintendent (Dr. R.P Centre), AIIMS, Dr. Vanita Mittal General Manager Academics, Max Institute of Medical Excellence, Max Healthcare, Mr. Rajeev Gupta Director Admissions- Sharda University and Co-Chairman Admiral R K Dhowan, Former Chief of Naval Staff.

The event was officially inaugurated with the lighting of lamps and was followed by motivational speeches from guests who guided the students for their journey to a new country towards a better future. The good relationship between India and Russia was also focused as it would help the students during their stay in Russia. Students were also assured of complete support during their stay in Russia by top management of Rus Education and the Government of Russia. Rus Education is dedicated to appreciating the efforts of brilliant and deserving
students. To motivate young minds of India, Rus Education declares scholarships to students from various corners of the country. 

During the event, meritorious students were awarded by various scholarships such as Badhte Kadam Scholarship”, in loving memory of “Shri A.P.J Abdul Kalam”, “Druzhba Scholarship” in loving memory of “H.E. Mr. Alexander Kadakin” and “Udaan Scholarship”  in Loving Memory of “Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee”, Veer Jawan Scholarship and Rus Education Excellence Scholarship and “Ayushman Bharat Scholarship”. 

This year Rus Education has introduced 2 new scholarships - “Samarthya” in the memory of Former Finance Minister- Lt. Shri Arun Jaitley and “Maitri Scholarship” in the memory of Lt. Smt. Shushma Swaraj Ji for all the meritorious girl students of the country. Rus Education - the largest overseas education provider - has been facilitating Indian Medical students to pursue an education in the field of medicine in Russia for the past 25 years. The organization has thus been hosting this annual pre-departure ceremony for all the students going to study MBBS in Russia. The event had a Photo Selfie Booth for all the attendees allowing them to have fond memories of their Pre-Departure Ceremony forever with their loved ones. 

The company, Green Channel Travel Services was at hand to provide any required international currency/ forex assistance. The Company arranged a booth for the students to guide them about the same. This year, Sobraniye was attended by almost 1000 people who witnessed the grandeur of this event. The function was followed by dinner and students on one side left with
new confidence in their hearts and parents on the other side left with complete assurance.
